Albatross Motel Fire Albatross Motel Fire

The Albatross Motel in Westport, Washington burned to the ground in early June of 2009. It only took a matter of minutes from the time the building caught fire to the time the building was completely engulfed in flames. Fire departments from as far as Aberdeen came to assist in putting out the fire. The Washington Crab producers building next door is made of brick, but did sustain some damage, and the flames were occasionally seen coming from the roof.
